Don't you love how people who think they're speaking English butcher the language? For example, what the hell ELSE would you have a memory of, if not the past? "Past history" is another phrase that makes me yell at the tv.
Lately, it's been bugging me a log more than usual how people who grew up in this country can't make the simplest sounds, like putting a "d" on the end of the word "cold". For instance, "I was cole las' nigh'." Or maybe, not saying something like, "I seen him. They was with him." And I just heard, "This one's wrote on." ARGH.
